This recipe uses MKK Crispy Chilli Fish
Zesty Green Beans
Before using the Crispy Chilli Fish sauce, drain the excess oil by emptying the whole packet onto two layers of paper towels in a bowl. Use what is needed and keep the rest in the fridge for future use.
Ingredients:
1 lb of green beans - fresh or frozen
3 Tbsp. of Crispy Chilli Fish sauce (may add more if preferred)
Cooking Directions:
1) Stir fry green beans in a pan over medium heat.
2) When green beans are warm, add the Crispy Chilli Fish sauce and stir fry for another 5 minutes or until hot.
3) Serve with rice.
4) Makes 3-4 servings.

This recipe uses Chilliz Chicken Curry
Easy Malaysian Peanut Sauce
Ingredients:
5 stalks of lemongrass - trimmed and crushed
1 packet of Chilliz Chicken Curry
2 cups of roasted peanuts or pistachios - chopped coarsely
2 cups coconut milk (add water to packet (50gms) coconut powder or to one can (13 oz.) coconut milk to make 2 cups of coconut milk)
2 tablespoons of sugar
Cooking Directions:
1) Add the lemongrass to the Chilliz Chicken Curry sauce in a pan over medium heat. Simmer for about 3 minutes.
2) Add the coconut milk, sugar and peanuts/pistachios. Stir gently and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. Add more water when the sauce becomes too thick.
3) Serve with skewered meat or tofu, rice or vegetables of your choice.

Spicy Cucumber Tea Sandwich
Before using the Crispy Chilli Fish sauce, drain the excess oil by emptying the whole packet onto two layers of paper towels in a bowl. Use what is needed and keep the rest in the fridge for future use.
Ingredients (for two sandwiches):
1/4 cup mayonaise
2-3 tsp. Crispy Chilli Fish sauce (may add more if preferred)
4 slices of bread
1 cucumber unpeeled - sliced thinly
Directions:
1) Combine mayonaise and Cripsy Chilli Fish sauce to make spicy spread. Let rest 10 minutes.
2) Spread the spicy spread on 2 slices of bread.
3) Arrange thinly sliced cucumber in 2-3 layers over one slice of the bread.
4) Place the other slice of the bread over the cucumbers and cut the sandwiches into triangles.
Makes a great lunch or snack.
For the more adventurous: Skip the mayonaise and spread a teaspoon or more of Crispy Chilli Fish sauce directly onto each bread slice. |  |
